Trustees Meeting
Minutes
Tuesday, January 24, 2006
The meeting was called to order at 7:35
p.m. by Trustee Diana Nazelli. Those present included Trustee Jeff
Homans and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting
were read and amended. A motion was made, seconded, and unanimously
passed to accept the minutes as amended.
TOWN HALL FUND RAISING:
· Trustee Nazelli reported she met with a third prospective
fund raiser, Debbie Smythe Hermann, and she was very impressed with
her resume. The first two are Casey Henry and Charles Bentz. Trustee
Nazelli would like all the Trustees to meet the three fund raisers
before the middle of April, 2006.
· Trustee Homans asked how each of these fund raisers wants
to be compensated for their work.
· Trustee Homans reported he talked with Dean Zimmerman,
WRHS, and Tom Einhouse, Director of Playhouse Square Properties.
Trustees Nazelli and Homans are meeting with Dean Zimmerman in a
couple of weeks.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS:
· Trustee Nazelli reported Mr. Spremelli looked at the condition
of the Town Hall roof and cupola. He will be putting together a
proposal for repairs.
· Trustee Homans reported he met with Village Council President
Dwight Milko about Mr. Milko’s visions for downtown Chagrin
Falls. Trustee Homans likes Mr. Milko’s ideas.
TOWN HALL RENTALS: No report.
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE: No report.
TOWNSHIP SIGNS:
· Trustee Nazelli received a draft of a new sign from Mr.
Ken Roby which is close to the concept discussed. The sign will
be printed out for the next meeting.
ZONING AMENDMENTS: No report.
CHAGRIN VALLEY INTERGOVERNMENTAL MEETING:
· Trustee Nazelli reported she attended the meeting on Sat.
January 21st in South Russell.
TOWNSHIP HALL FLAG ON FLAGPOLE:
· There have been a couple of calls to say the flag is flying
unattached on the bottom. Trustees Nazelli and Homans went outside
and attached the bottom of the flag to the line.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
