The meeting was called to order by President Stephen Thomas at 7:35 p.m. Those present included Trustee Diana Nazelli and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.

MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting were read. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to accept the minutes as read.

FINANCIAL REPORT: The Trustees acknowledged receipt of the December, 2004 Financial Statement as prepared by Clerk Elizabeth Boles. A detailed report is on file in the Township office.

OLD BUSINESS

BRICK ROAD PROJECT:
• Clerk and Township resident Elizabeth Boles reported her mailbox was in pieces because of a snowplow hitting it. No mail has been delivered since this occurred.
• The mailbox post was not permanently fixed in the ground but put in a plastic bucket filled with cement by employees of the Cuyahoga County Engineer’s office by the suggestion of the Chagrin Falls Postmaster. Many Township residents have been given this, hopefully, temporary solution during the brick road project.
• Trustee Nazelli suggested to Clerk Boles that she visit the Engineer’s trailer on Rte. 87 and ask if the mailbox and post could be mended and put upright. Clerk Boles will do this.

TOWN HALL RENTALS: No report.

TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE:
• Trustee Nazelli reported Town Hall desk volunteer Zella Davidson recently became concerned when she smelled an odor coming from the direction of the boiler. Mr. Frank Stankus was called and he discovered the boiler needed a good cleaning. Trustee Nazelli will ask Mr. Stankus to put the Town Hall boiler on a regular check-up schedule.
• Town Hall Handyman Joe Kocheff will rebuild the outside cellar storm door but will check with Elizabeth Murphy about the correct wood to use.

TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS: No Report.

NEW BUSINESS

RESOLUTION 2005-01: President Thomas moved to resolve to object to the Tax Amnesty (see attached copy). Trustee Nazelli seconded the motion and the motion was unanimously passed.

2005 INVENTORY SHEET: Clerk Boles reported she has sent a copy of the 2005 Inventory Sheet to the County Engineer’s office.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
