Trustees Meeting
Tuesday, February 13, 2007
Minutes
The meeting was called to order by President Diana Nazelli at 7:40 p.m. Those present included Trustee Stephen Thomas and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting were read and corrected. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to accept the minutes as corrected.
OLD BUSINESS
TOWNSHIP HALL FUND RAISING (Bentz):
Discussions are ongoing.
ARTS DISTRICT/OBTAINING A 501C3:
Trustee Thomas reported he has talked with Township attorneys about the Code of Regulation.
Feb. 24 at 9:00 a.m. will be an organizational meeting at the River Street Playhouse on River Street.
TOWNSHIP HALL STUDY (Murphy):
Discussions are ongoing.
Elizabeth Murphy is in the process of producing detailed drawings of the Township Hall.
TOWNSHIP HALL RENTALS:
President Nazelli reported she looked into the rental fees of area rental facilities.
- Gamekeepers' Boardroom (holds 15 people) $150.00/day
- Bainbridge Town Hall $30.00/hr. No special rate for non-profit.
- Washington Party Center N/A Catering included in fee.
A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to raise the daily rental fee from $150.00 to $200.00, effective March 1, 2007.
Non-profit groups can still rent the Township Hall for $15.00/hour.
The C.V. Jaycees pay $50.00 a month rent/ $600.00 a year when they are billed. They paid the annual rental fee in Feb. 2005 and in June 2006.
TOWNSHIP HALL MAINTENANCE:
The Trustees unanimously agreed that Handyman Joseph Kocheff can paint, repair, and maintain the Township Hall for a maximum of $6,000.oo ASAP.
NEW BUSINESS
ANNUAL INSURANCE COVERAGE:
The Trustees looked over the annual OTARMA Insurance Policy.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
