Township Trustees Meeting
Minutes
Tuesday, February 21, 2006
The meeting was called to order by President
Diana Nazelli at 7:35 p.m. Those present included Trustee Steve
Thomas, Trustee Jeff Homans and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting
were read. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to
accept the minutes as read.
OLD BUSINESS
TOWN HALL FUND RAISING:
· The Trustees agreed the first week in April, maybe April
4th, would be a good time to ask the three fund raisers to meet
with the Trustees.
· President Nazelli said she will send all resumes and material
on all three fund raisers to the Trustees.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS: No
report.
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE: No report.
TOWN HALL RENTALS: No report.
ZONING ISSUES:
· Trustee Thomas said he will ask the CF Fire Dept. about
access issues into interior lots in Township.
· Trustee Thomas suggested putting the new zoning fees on
the website.
· Trustee Homans said he will put together a statement for
the website.
TOWNSHIP SIGNS:
· President Nazelli reported she e-mailed Ken Roby about
the Trustees’ preferences for a sign.
TOWNSHIP/VILLAGE AGREEMENT RE: TOWN HALL
USUAGE:
· The Trustees received a letter on 1/26/06 from Ben Himes
of the Village of CF stating the Village Council needs to approve
all Town Hall rentals that are not non-profit as per Agreement.
· The Trustees reviewed this Agreement.
· President Nazelli recommended meeting with Village officials
to amend this Agreement.
· Trustee Thomas will talk with Village Council President
Dwight Milko.
NEW BUSINESS
VILLAGE OF BENTLEYVILLE/CHAGRIN RIVER
ROAD:
· Trustee Thomas passed around a copy of a letter he mailed
to the Village of Bentleyville. (see attached)
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
