Falls Township Trustees Meeting
Tuesday, May 10, 2005
Minutes
The meeting was called
to order by President Stephen Thomas at 7:35 p.m. Those present
included Trustee Diana Nazelli, Trustee Jeff Homans, and Clerk Elizabeth
Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting
were read. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to
accept the minutes as read.
OLD BUSINESS
BRICK ROAD PROJECT: No report.
TOWN HALL RENTALS: No report.
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE: No report.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS:
• Trustee Nazelli reported she met with Elizabeth Murphy for
a tour of Town Hall to determine where the new electrical panel
should be installed. It was decided the most effective area to install
new panel is on the back wall of the Township Hall basement (NW
corner) in the Jaycees’ den. The lines would be run in the
basement to existing box, which will be bigger or a new sub-panel
will be made. (see attached e-mail)
• President Thomas will notify the Jaycees about this plan.
• Trustee Nazelli asked the Trustees to consider asking the
Jaycees to find another location for their headquarters while the
renovations are being done for safety reasons during construction.
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING PLAN:
• The Zoning Commission of CF Township has been working all
year on revised Zoning Resolutions for the Township.
• The Zoning Commission met on April 27th at Chagrin Falls
Township Hall to discuss the resolutions. All three Trustees were
in attendance. (see attached copy or copy in file)
• Trustee Homans reported that D. B. Hartt’s services
helping the Zoning Commission on an advisory capacity are at an
end unless the Trustees would like to extend it. A motion was made,
seconded, and unanimously passed to ask Mr. Hartt to continue his
services up to $3,000.00. The Clerk verified there are sufficient
funds to cover the cost. Trustee Homans has Mr. Hartt’s proposal
and itemized list.
CHAGRIN RIVER WATERSHED PARTNERS:
• Trustee Homans announced he will no longer be able to attend
the May 12th meeting. Trustee Nazelli said she would go to the meeting.
504 NORTH MAIN STREET/FOLTZ PROPERTY:
• Clerk Boles reported the Township has received a bill for
$6.32 from the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts. The Trustees agreed
to pay the bill.
NEW BUSINESS
ZONING COMMISSION RESIGNATION:
• Earle “Pete” Peterson has submitted his resignation
as a member of the Zoning Commission because he is moving out of
the Township. (see attached). The Trustees agreed to ask Lisa Hollyer
to fill the vacancy.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
