Trustees Meeting
Tuesday, June 7, 2005
Minutes
The meeting was called to order by President
Stephen Thomas at 7:45 p.m. Those present included Trustee
Diana Nazelli, Trustee Jeff Homans and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from
the last meeting were read. A motion was made, seconded and
unanimously passed to accept the minutes as read.
OLD BUSINESS
BRICK ROAD PROJECT:
- Trustee Homans asked if the dirt sides of the
road will be seeded. Trustee Nazelli was look into this.
TOWN HALL RENTALS:
- President Thomas reported he did not ask Nancy
Haag about the Hall tables.
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE: No
report.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS:
- Trustee Nazelli reported she has walked through
the building with an electrical contractor hired by CT Services.
- The Trustees would like the pole ready for the
upgrade into Town Hall when all is ready.
- The main panel will be installed in Town Hall
for the tap-in.
- Trustee Nazelli received a field report from
Elizabeth Murphy from her May 9th inspection.
ZONING COMMISSION OF TOWNSHIP:
- President Thomas received an e-mail from Zoning
Commission member Chuck Bittenbender expressing his concern
about the clear-cut provisions in the zoning code being too
stringent. He felt new language should be used (see attached).
636 FALLS ROAD/JOHNSON PROPERTY:
- Trustee Homans reported he heard from Zoning
Agent Mac Donley recently. Lexie Johnson would like to
build a barn with stables. She said she was told she did
not need a building permit or a zoning permit application.
Mr. Donley told her she will need a zoning permit. She
also needs a building permit, according to Moreland Hills, because
it is a new structure. The Township has adopted the Moreland
Hills building code. Mr. Donley has asked Mrs. Johnson
to submit her plans to him and most likely to the BZA.
NEW BUSINESS
OFFICE COMPUTER:
- Clerk Boles reported the computer has been malfunctioning.
She talked with the rep. on the phone from Adelphia and he said
that the office computer is not getting full power. Trustee
Homans said he would look into this.
- Clerk Boles will call Adelphia for a service
repair if necessary.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned
at 8:20 p.m.
