Trustees Meeting
Wednesday, October 27, 2004
Minutes
The meeting was called to order by President
Stephen Thomas at 7:45 p.m. Those present included Trustee Diana
Nazelli, Trustee Jeff Homans, and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting
were read. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to
accept the minutes as read.
OLD BUSINESS
BRICK ROAD PROJECT:
• The Trustees reported the bricks are being laid.
TOWN HALL RENTALS:
• President Thomas will contact Ellen Hunt about the Yoga classes.
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE:
• Trustee Nazelli reported Town Hall Handyman Joseph Kocheff
has completed all the repair work.
• Mr. Kocheff is keeping an eye on the roof/wall of the women’s
bathroom for leaks.
• Mr. Kocheff will be invited to the next Trustees meeting
so all can meet him.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS:
• Trustee Nazelli announced she is planning on attending the
11/8 Village Council Meeting to present the letter requesting Federal
Funds and ask Council for support.
TOWNSHIP WEBSITE: No report.
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING PLAN:
• Trustee Homans reported the Zoning Commission (Franz Sauerland,
Chuck Bittenbender, Judy McConnell, Pete Peterson and Rick Henry)
met on 10/21. The draft plan was reviewed and revised.
• The committee will finalize their recommendations and send
to Trustees for their approval.
NEW BUSINESS
TAX ADVANCE RESOLUTION:
• Clerk Boles presented the Tax Advance Resolution request
to the Trustees. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed
to request funds for 2005.
• The Resolution was signed by all and Clerk Boles will send
it to the County Budget Commission. (see copy attached to minutes)
TAX RATE RESOLUTION FOR TAX YEAR 2004:
• Clerk Boles presented the Tax Rate Resolution to the Trustees.
A motion was made, seconded and passed unanimously to adopt the
Resolutions for the Tax Year 2004.
• All copies were signed and Clerk Boles will send them to
the County. (see copies attached to minutes)
LOCAL GOVERNMENT FUND MEETING:
• Trustee Nazelli reported she attended the strategy meeting
on 10/18 with the County Commissioners to discuss avoiding the loss
of this fund.
CHAGRIN FALLS SUBURBAN F.D.:
• The Trustees unanimously approved the contract for EMS and
Fire Service from the C.F. Suburban F.D. The contract was signed
and dated.
• Clerk Boles will mail it to the C.F. Suburban F.D.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned
at 8:20 p.m.
