Falls Township Trustees Meeting
Minutes
Tuesday, November 23, 2004
The meeting was called to order by President
Stephen Thomas at 7:40 p.m. Those present included Trustee Diana
Nazelli, Trustee Jeff Homans, Town Hall Handyman Joseph Kocheff,
and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting
were read. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to
accept the minutes as read.
OLD BUSINESS
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE:
• New Handyman Joseph Kocheff introduced himself and described
what he does. The Trustees and Mr. Kocheff discussed the Town Hall.
• Mr. Kocheff was given an e-mail from Town Hall Administrator
Ellen Hunt about repairs needed.
• The Trustees thanked Mr. Kocheff for coming to the meeting.
BRICK ROAD:
• A representative from the County Engineer’s office
told Trustee Homans the bricks are scheduled to be completely laid
from Rte. 87 to Hunting Trails before winter.
• Trustee Homans expressed concern with the pipes under the
driveways getting clogged with debris. The culverts/gutters will
need to be cleaned out on a regular basis.
• Trustee Homans announced he will contact the County to find
out if they have a clean-up plan.
• Trustee Nazelli announced there is a Brick Road Progress
Meeting the 3rd Wednesday every month at 10:00 a.m.
• Trustee Nazelli reported she received a phone call from Stonecreek
Drive resident Christy Bittenbender. Mrs. Bittenbender asked for
a brick road update to share with the other Stonecreek residents
at their meeting. Trustee Nazelli filled her in with the updates.
TOWN HALL RENTALS: No report.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS:
• The Trustees signed the letter for Congressman Steve LaTourette.
• Trustee Nazelli reported a Proclamation in the form of a
letter of support will be sent to Congressman LaTourette from the
Village of Chagrin Falls.

& NEA FOLTZ:
• President Thomas reported he is composing a letter to the
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor asking him for his advice in response
to a letter received from Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) Chairman
Loyal Wilson.
• He will have a draft of the letter ready for the next Township
meeting.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT FUNDS MEETING:
• Trustee Nazelli reported she attended the meeting to discuss
the County Budget and the possible elimination of the Local Government
Fund.
• A couple of large press conferences have been scheduled to
enlighten the public about this problem.
• 51% of County Library funding come from these funds.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
