Falls Township Trustees
Meeting
Tuesday, December 27, 2005
The meeting was called to order by President Stephen Thomas at 7:35
p.m. Those present included Trustee Diana Nazelli, Trustee Jeff
Homans, and Clerk Elizabeth Boles.
MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting
were read and corrected. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously
passed to accept the minutes as corrected.
BRICK ROAD PROJECT:
· The road is almost finished, just a few feet to go.
TOWN HALL RENTALS: No report.
TOWN HALL MAINTENANCE:
· President Thomas reported that C.V. Jaycee Troy Young is
concerned about the Town Hall cupola. It needs restoration and painting.
President Thomas suggested hiring Capital Painting Co. to do the
work.
· Mr. Young has also noticed water problems in the downstairs
men’s bathroom due to leaks in walls, which he said he tried
to fix.
· Trustee Nazelli reported she just learned the original
cupola on Town Hall was huge.
TOWN HALL STUDY & RENOVATIONS:
· Trustee Nazelli reported she has reviewed the notebook
and she will continue networking for more sources.
· Trustee Homans left a message for Mr. Sandvik, restoration
architect.
· President Thomas sent a copy of a letter concerning Town
Hall to CF Councilman Dwight Milko.
· President Thomas said Village resident Jay Schach is interested
in helping with the Town Hall project.
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS: No report.
2005-03 RESOLUTION:
· President Thomas made a motion and Trustee Homans seconded
the motion to adopt the 2005-03 Resolution for Appropriations for
2005. The motion was unanimously passed.
2005-04 RESOLUTION:
· President Thomas made a motion and Trustee Homans seconded
the motion to adopt the 2005-04 Resolution for Appropriations for
2006. The motion was unanimously passed.
TEMPORARY NEW CONSTRUCTION & ADDITIONS
FEE:
· A motion was made by President Thomas to adopt a new fee
of $250.00 for new construction and additions in the Township. The
motion was unanimously passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
